Hello lovelies! I am so sorry I have not posted in such a long time, I know that I usually say this at the beginning of many posts, but I have honestly been so busy recently! Hopefully this blogpost will redeem my many missed blog posts and I can assure you that many more are coming very soon!
As it is Autumn/ Fall now I thought that this Natural Smokey Eyes guide would be perfect for this season. The natural colours can compliment any outfit and give it a glamorous touch. This step by step guide is so simple to carry out, whether you are a beginner who wants something simple to start off with, or whether you are a pro who wants a quick and easy look, this guide is perfect for you!
Just to add, the eyes above are mine, but the eyes I use in the tutorial belong to my great friend who has the most amazing eyes! The weird thing about my eyes is that they are actually hazel, but when I am in a sunny place or have the flash on, they go green!
Step 1: Conceal
The first step is very simple. cover up your dark circles! Now I am not saying that you have dark under eye circles, but it is always good to use a tinted eye brightener to brighten up your eyes. The tinted eye brightener I used was the Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener. Its lightweight formula and easy application to the skin definitely makes this product a must have! Of course there are many other similar brand products so feel free to try different ones, but personally the Bobbi Brown product works best for me.
Apply three small dots under your eye and gently rub it in with your fourth finger. Always remember to rub it in with your fourth finger due to the fact that the skin beneath your eye is very fragile and you do not want to damage it. If you do damage it you will get wrinkles in your later years. Rub the dots in till the concealer can no longer be seen.

The So Eco brush set is only available on Amazon, so I have provided the link to there. The brushes are definitely worth the purchase as they are great for the environment because they are made from biodegradable materials!

Step 2: Eyeshadow (Part 2)
The second stage is a tad trickier, this time we are going to use the Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Ballet Pink. This is a Sparkle Eye shadow, as you can probably notice from the picture. Apply the Eyeshadow again using an eyeshadow brush. Sweep the colour across your eye lid, but only on the bottom ⅓. Then, use your pencil brush to apply a darker, more precise line using the same eyeshadow along your lash line. Remember, slowly fade out as you get further up the eyelid by loosening the weight you put on your eyeshadow brush. Feel free to alter the amount of this eyeshadow you want to put on, depending on where you are going!

Step 3: Apply eyeliner (Part 1)
Now, eyeliner! I used the Bobbi Brown Stylo Gel Eyeliner in the shade scotch. I found that this eyeliner pencil worked amazing for this look. First, Create a dotted line along your lashes. Use your eyeliner to create a small dotted line directly above your lashes on your upper eyelid. Make sure that the dots are as close to the base of your eyelid as possible; the point of eyeliner is to give the illusion of full eyelashes, which you can only do if the eyeliner is near the lashes. Then, Connect the dots. Draw a line using short, brief strokes to connect all of the dots. Instead of drawing one continuous line, use the shorter lines to help create an even, non-bumpy line. You should begin drawing at the inside corner of your eye and end at the outer corner. Finally, Finish the line. Make sure that each of the dots have been connected. I decided to go for a little butterfly flick at the end of the eyeliner, to do this at the end of your original line, taper upwards and literally flick your pencil upwards! Be warned, it does take a while to make sure both of the flicks are symmetrical!

Step 3: Under eye liner (Part 2)
Using the same Bobbi Brown eyeliner pencil, and using the same method as lining your upper lashes, draw a line from the outside corner of your lower eyelid, to the other side. (Or finish where you lower lashes end.)
Step 4: Eyelashes
Use an eyelash curler then apply your mascara on your top and lower lashes. I used the Rimmel London Wonder'full mascara. This mascara is fab! I thoroughly recommend it! The mascaras new formula with Argan Oil feels incredibly lightweight, soft and flexible for wonder’full volume that won’t weigh you down. You can then use a de-clumper to get the clumps out.

Finished!
So this is the final result! If you enjoyed this tutorial please leave me feedback by either writing in the comments or emailing me (click Contact page). If you found this helpful and decide to do your own version of this look please send me your pictures, some of the best eyeshadow looks will be featured on my blog! I actually found this blog post very hard to write due to the fact that I struggle explaining things in a simple form because I am used to just doing it naturally without thinking of the step-by-step instructions, if I did make it all seem a tad confusing, please leave me any questions down below!
One last thing, I would again love to thank Phoebe for letting me use her amazing eyes for this tutorial and Charlotte for being an amazing photographer!
