As another year has come to a close, a new one unfolds. 2014 has held many memories, many things have taken place which have made all of us stronger and wiser. As many of us hold on to 2014, we must welcome 2015 with open arms, as anything can happen.
2014 has gone so fast, 365 days have gone by and it felt like only yesterday I was writing on my old blog about all the January sales. Since then myself and my blog have grew, last January I felt like my blog was really changing after I won a blogging competition and won tickets to London Fashion Weekend. When I won, it wasn't only the tickets that made me glad I won but it was also the satisfaction that my writing actually meant something to someone! This gave me a giant boost into writing in more depth and detail, as all I want was to make someone else understand my writing too.
In June, I changed blog domain from Wordpress to blogger. This was a giant leap as the last thing I wanted to do was lose any of my amazing followers. I spent many weeks contemplating the ups and downs of changing blog domain, Wordpress was great for my blog and I had built up a sturdy home for my blog. But I was eager to build my blog, to take a gamble and try to set myself in the blogging community. I decided to take the gamble, I changed my blog name and decided that this was going to be for the best and even if it didn't reach my expectations, I still had my old blog to rely on. Ever since I have changed blog remain, I must say it has been for the best, blogger is an amazing community and I am grateful to my followers for sticking with me.
On and off my blog, 2014 as a whole, has been great. I travelled a few times last year, each and every destination widening the outlook I have on the things I love to write about the most, fashion and beauty. Each and every country has reinforced that style is precious, it is unique to your country, but more importantly it is unique to you. That is one on the main things I am going to take out of 2014. My blog post does not tell you what to wear or how to wear things, instead it guides you to find your own style, as style is one of the things that reflects who you are!
Okay, now enough with me rambling on about 2014, because in order to appreciate last year, we must embrace 2015! During the year, there are many more blog posts to come, whether it be new and upcoming trends, catwalks or beauty trends, I am warning you now that you don't want to miss out! This is a quick update on things as I know I have not posted for a while. I assure you that there are going to be so many posts this year and I am going to try and post at least once every week.
