VODAFONE LONDON FASHION WEEKEND

Hello lovelies, sorry i have not put up a blog post in a while but the reason is is that i have been so busy lately! Last weekend i went to Vodafone London Fashion Weekend all thanks to EtailPR and The Watch Gallery. The catwalks, Canon 360 studio and designer shops made up the perfect fashion event. On this blog post i will show you my favourite looks from the trend and Julien Macdonald catwalks.
Trend- Precious Metals

From Antonio Berardi and Balmain to Marni, designers opted for vibrant hues with an iridescent finish. Metallic fashion has been around for quite a while now, but this unique collection has a trendy twist on it. From colourful metals to metallic sequins this range is perfect for a person with a trendy eye.  Never be afraid to sparkle!
Trend- Flower Power

trends-flowers-1I personally love this trend as it is so fresh and cutting-edge, the bright colours really do light up any everyday outfit. It’s a spring awakening as Erdem, Jonathan Saunders and Preen showed beautiful blooms on the catwalk. From sixties-inspired prints to oversized motifs and delicate posies, now’s the time to blossom!
Trend- Lace Embrace

This delicate detail is the season’s signature overlay. Follow the lead of Christopher Kane, Diane von Furstenberg and Oscar de la Renta and don’t fear the sheer! If you’re looking to add a little texture to your wardrobe, opt for a lace skirt – it’s the key ladylike piece for spring. I have always had this huge obcession with lace so this trend was ideal for me and my style!
Trend- Good Sport
trends-sports-1

The sports luxe trend continues to rule the runway – think exaggerated silhouettes, rah-rah pleats and rounded shoulders from designers such as T by Alexander Wang, Peter Pilotto and Stella McCartney. The Sporty look is perfect with not only high heels but of course it would’nt be a sporty look without trainers. Game on!
Designer- Julien MacDonald

The Julien Macdonald trademark piece is a “red carpet glamorous embellished dress” and the S/S14 collection continues his aesthetic of chic, modern glamour. The collection, solely comprising dresses, fuses elements of modern construction, with a rock and roll edge for a fresh geometric feel. His catwalk was utterly breathtaking, with designing dresses for Beyonce, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding and much more, theres no wonder his designs were so great.
